Cowgirls only! Barrel racing is a Texan rodeo sport that emerged in the 1930s and is only practiced by women. These riders are fierce competitors and are therefore not only a bit sweet (like the salsa) but also a bit spicy!
100% natural and plant-based
Our Barrel Racer Salsa honours the Texan rodeo sport of barrel racing, which has established itself all over the American west and is now a staple of cowboy and rodeo culture. Traditionally, barrel racing is a women’s sport where talented riders navigate their agile horses around barrels in a rodeo arena. The fastest riders can win prizes worth thousands of dollars.
Our Barrel Racer salsa is unique because the addition of fresh mangoes and lime juice gives a pinch of sweetness to offset the touch of spice from the habaneros. This sweet-spicy combination is perfect for fish dishes or fish tacos, with rice and vegetables or with chicken. Of course, as always it can be used as a dip with tortilla chips or condiment with nachos.
